Setup Instructions for Windows 9x:
Please print this page to keep for your records. How to dial into ECTISP:
Open Internet Explorer (You do not need to be online)
Click on Tools
Click on Internet Option
Click on Connection Tab
Click on Setup
Click "I want to set up my Internet connection manually"
Click Next
Click Next again (no changes are needed)
Take check out of "Dial using the area code and country code"
Type the dialup number for your location including the area code (If you have call waiting also type *70,, then the number)
For your records write that number here.___________________
Click Next
Type in your username e.g. firstname_lastname (DO NOT TYPE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS)
Type your Password
Click Next
Press your delete key and then Type ECTISP
Click Next
Click on No (You do not need to set up mail account)
Click Next
Click Finish
To add a shortcut to your Desktop:
Open My Computer on your Desktop.
Click Open Dial-Up Networking
Right Click the Icon for "ectisp.net " in Dial-up Networking
Left Click on Create Shortcut and answer YES to the Window that asks if you want the shortcut created on the Desktop.
To Connect:
On Your Desktop Click open the shortcut to ectisp.net.
Click Connect.
Open Internet Explorer browser for surfing or Outlook Express for your mail.
